Youths Ops and YOW

At Summerleas, we want our Gospel Communities to be places where High Schoolers experience Gospel Centred, organic, relationships and grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus.

We believe that the best way for young people to grow as Christians is through them loving, serving, and relating to a variety of people from little babies right through to the elderly.

YOW

Y.O.W. stands for ‘Youth at One Way’, this is a ministry that we run in conjunction with one of our sister churches One Way Christian Church in Margate. Y.O.W. provides an opportunity for Summerleas High School students to mix with a larger group of Christian peers and develop a sense of inter church partnership. We still try to leverage our Gospel Community relationships in Y.O.W. as we try to make sure each High School student has at least one adult from their Gospel Community on the Y.O.W. leadership team. This provides a natural forum for adults to disciple the high school students in their Gospel Communities. Y.O.W. meets once a fortnight, 6-8pm on Sunday evenings.
